The office of Deacon, as set forth in Scripture, is one of sympathy, witness, and service after the example of Jesus Christ. Our Deacons minister to those who are sick, to the friendless and to any who may be in need both within and beyond the community of faith.

Our Deacons are involved in caring ministries in a number of specific ways. Once each month our Deacons hold worship services for the residents at Rest Haven West, a local nursing home. Deacons serve the church in worship, care for our members who cannot leave their homes, and serve as our connection to the local food pantry and walk-in ministry.
