Our first church camping experience at Presbyterian Camps in Saugatuck was in 1980. August 2005 will be our 25th summer. Some interesting statistics:

170 of those listed in our recent church directory have been to Saugatuck We have had an age range of 6 months to 89 years We have celebrated engagements, birthdays, wedding anniversaries and baptisms

Vince and Doris Potenza's children have established a scholarship endowment for our church in memory of the wonderful time their parents had at Saugatuck.

While we have enjoyed the facilities of the camp in all seasons of the year, we have not just been takers. We have given back to the camp by :

Providing staff for the camp; Assisting with remodeling of Calvin; Remodeling Mayflower into an all-weather cabin providing both the funds and the labor; painting and roofing some of the older cabins; building, sanding and staining bunk beds; designing & providing material for a 9-hole Disc Golf Course in memory of Lee Schroeder.
